2 Butte County Code Chapter 32A
Authorizes County to abate public nuisances through hearing procedure and court warrant. County may recover costs of abatement by proposing that a lien be recorded against the property and by placing a special assessment on the property. Property owners have an opportunity to pay costs within 15 days of notice and the right to appear before the Board of Supervisors regarding the amount of the proposed lien and special assessment.

the matter to hearing; The cost of the Hearing Officer; The cost of any appeals; The cost to obtain an abatement warrant; The cost to physically abate the nuisance.

Code violations: Accumulation of junk and maintaining an unsafe structure. Hearing date: April 9, 2015 Abatement dates: March 22, 2016 through March 29, 2016. Work performed: Remove debris and board up building. Notice of Proposed Lien sent: July 5, 2016
