Use editing checklist to make sure you have all the parts of the essay.
Read each paragraph for flow; add transition or commentary words or sentences where needed.
Delete (take out) any repetitive or unnecessary information.
Reread your essay thinking about the following questions:
Have I answered the essential question completely?
Does my evidence support my claim? Is it accurate?
Do the sentences in each paragraph work together to express one main idea?
