Statewide screening for brain injury in DOC
Community re-entry staff should be trained to identify a history of TBI and have access to appropriate consultation with other professionals with expertise in brain injury
Transition services for released persons returning to communities should accommodate the problems resulting from a brain injury
Access to ongoing and proactive services that will help navigate ex- offenders to brain injury specific as well as other instrumental (e.g., housing, transportation) and health care services and supports
Continued training of criminal justice personnel in brain injury
