Simply Put… Colorado’s Employment and Training Program for Food Assistance Work Registrants For anyone who has been referred to Employment First to remain eligible for their portion of their household’s food stamps, they must be involved in either Workfare or a NON-workfare activity.

Demonstration programs in Adams, Jefferson, and Larimer Food Stamp E & T federally mandated by Food Stamp Act Workfare started in Colorado Welfare reform (ABAWDs) CBMS Implemented 2014 Farm Bill Pilot Projects Underway 1983 1985 1992 1996 These pilots will give USDA and States the opportunity to build on existing SNAP E&T programs and test new strategies to determine the most effective ways to help SNAP recipients gain and retain employment that leads to self-sufficiency. 2004 2014
