We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord And we pray that our unity will one day be restored And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love Yeah they'll know we are Christians by our love
3
We will work with each other, we will work side by side We will work with each other, we will work side by side And we'll guard each man's dignity and save each man's pride And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our love Yeah, they'll know we are Christians by our love.
5
In a world where all is borrowed And time like elusive dust seems to Just slip through our fingers
6
All we really have are these precious moments
Where we can make fertile the soil In the garden of our hearts That love may make its home And here the mortal seed may flourish
7
Only love can free us from the womb of time
For life... like a magnificent mysterious cloud holds Its shape and from only long enough for us to blink
8
And all our precious memories are but shadows of
Time that will drift away like fallen returning To the emptiness from which they came Thus we are, like innocent children flowering In the garden of souls
10
Let us again listen to the silence of this sacred space
Let us again listen to the silence of this sacred space. A space made ready for us by willing hands.
12
May we give thanks for all the silences in our lives: the silence of sunrise, the silence of midst on the lake, the silence at the end of a story, the silence between notes of music, the silence between us here…

This Is God’s Wondrous World
VU 296
34
This God’s wondrous world, and to my listening ears all nature sings, and round me rings the music of the spheres.
35
This is God’s wondrous world; I rest me in the thought of rocks and trees, of skies and seas, God’s hand the wonders wrought.
36
This is God’s wondrous world: the birds their carols raise; the morning light, the lily white, declare their Maker’s praise.
37
This is God’s wondrous world: God shines in all that’s fair; in the rustling grass or mountain pass, God’s voice speaks everywhere.
38
This is God’s wondrous world: O let me ne’er forget that though the wrong seems oft so strong, God is the ruler yet.
39
This is God’s wondrous world: why should my heart be sad
This is God’s wondrous world: why should my heart be sad? Let voices sing, let heavens ring: God reigns, let earth be glad!
