-identify at least two new concepts learned about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), the research, and connection to long term health outcomes. -describe at least two examples in which your role as an educator can be impacted by working with kids from trauma. -participate in at least one application activity related to how to use Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) in an education classroom or other education based learning environment.

As your ACE score increases, so does the risk of disease, social and emotional problems. With an ACE score of 4 or more, things start getting serious. The likelihood of : -hepatitis 240% -chronic pulmonary lung disease increases 390% -depression 460% -suicide 1220%

Imperative to recognize the types of involuntary maladaptive behaviors that result from trauma due to brain changes that has occurred Biologically disrespectfully – Dr. Bruce Perry asking them to do something they can’t do – what does that look like?
