1 Demonstration Shots from January 13th, 2015 Workshop
On “Light Painting”

2 Demo Photos from 1/13/15 Workshop:
This shot was taken with a shutter speed of 25 secs, f/16, ISO 200. Only the areas “painted” by the hand held light are exposed.

3 This shot was taken with a shutter speed of 20 secs, f/11, ISO 200.
Notice the bluish light coming in from under the window shade – even though the shot was taken At night. Plan ahead – with long shutter speed times ambient light will get burned into your shot.

4 This shot was taken with a shutter speed of 20 secs, f/11, ISO 200.
Uncle Fester showed up to help out! You can do some fun things with Light Painting. You can create a multiple exposure shot. Paint a subject with light and then half way thru the exposure time, turn off the light, have the subject move and start to light paint them in the new position. This shot was taken with a shutter speed of 20 secs, f/11, ISO 200.

5 Art Herman volunteered to use this multiple exposure with light painting to show the full range
of his “acting” abilities. This shot was taken with a shutter speed of 20 secs, f/11, ISO 200. Remember to be careful with your technique. Only the areas you “paint” with your hand held Light will come out exposed.

6 Here Art is confronting the object of his affection.
This shot was taken with a shutter speed of 20 secs, f/11, ISO 200.
