being able to focus effectively on important values & ‘dreams’ while enjoying the present and not being held back by out-of-date emotional beliefs is obviously hugely important – however if this process doesn’t improve & maintain practical changes in work, activities, relationships and self-care it is unlikely to produce lasting wellbeing attention focus emotional beliefs values, ‘dreams’ there are additional sheets available detailing research studies that emphasise the value of both the inner and outer of the two triangles on this diagram this diagram is often most helpful when used alongside the ‘development & maintenance of distressed states’ and ‘problem solving diagram’ sheets self care
