Infection rates: Sterile gloves 9.3% (22/237) Non sterile gloves 8.7% (21/241) Difference in Infection -0.6% (95% CI -4.0 to +2.9) Infection actually lower in the non-sterile glove group!

What This Means for Clinical Practice
The use of non-sterile gloves is NOT WORSE than sterile gloves in terms of infection rates in minor skin procedures in a GP setting. Cost-saving
