This is the Project Control Panel … the project manager has immediate real-time insight to:
Revenue,
funded value,
what has been billed
what has been written off as adjustments
AND the ability to drill down to see the details of those transactions
In the same one report, the PM can view Budget which is sum of labor and expense bill budgets, total and funded value from the project levels, along with remaining $. Then still in one view, the A/R balance to see what is due and past due, and other additional project info.

Let’s take a closer look: In demo – select column options (limit or all), can filter to request to see projects that have revenue over $10k for any of the periods, based on funded value and % used or billable variance or write off adjustments. Can really narrow down the specifics to find the projects that might have problems.
The cost summary criteria needs to be defined here when you drill down to show which cost report, the periods and the NEW plans, budgets and actuals and actuasl with budgets as forecast and showing comments.

First is the Trending Income Statement which gives trend analysis to help a firm’s financial manager determine how the company is likely to perform over time. The trend anaysis is based on historical data from the firm's financial statements and forecasted data from the firm's pro forma, or forward-looking, financial statements.
In Unanet’s new Trending Income statement, available for the Administrator and GL viewer roles, has the ability to compare the current fiscal year with projections or a baseline in the future. In addition, there are options to compare the actuals with the previous year’s actuals and compare current actuals to the budget and to show by an organization and by Account in the chart of accounts.
AP Activity report – to show all details for a particular vendor including invoices and payments for a period.
AR Activity Report – ability to show all invoices and payments for a particular customer or group. You can view details about the invoice and payment level or show customer totals for the reporting period.

We have added new report options to include plans, budgets AND actuals AND to include actuals through a given date, typically today or the last time period and forecast looking forward with budgets or plans, even with a particular plan set or what –if scenario. This is very powerful for projections based on actuals thus far and for forecasting for what –if scenarios moving forward for a pipeline review – all in one view. And remember you also have the ability to define multiple views of this information, the cost report itself and the buckets or groups of information.

In addition, I am excited to now have the ability to report at the task level for these very useful project accounting reports. This was another suggestion from our customer base to track revenue, profit, total costs at the task level for a more granular view and management of work activities. The key to having this beneficial reporting for you is to be sure to input budget values at the task level so you can track and report at the task level and compare with the actuals you are reporting on at the task or sub task level now.

Actuals and FP items through date calculation
Project status – new columns with gross revenue and funded value and what percent of funded value has been incurred.
The calculation of Gross Revenue is based on the project's or task's Billing Type is determined as follows.
Gather all existing time, expense, and financial document expenses. Consider ALL existing actuals regardless of status.
Calculate revenue based on the rules for the project's billing type. Do not consider revenue caps, fee caps or write offs at this point.
Add in any revenue that has already been posted
Add in any revenue-related "additional items" from Draft invoices
Add in any FP items recognized on invoice completion from the Draft invoices

My original plan had 8 hours per day for 5 days in the week. I then work Monday and Tuesday but don’t work the 8 hours as expected, but work 4 hours on Monday and 6 hours on Tuesday. The original calculation would not take into consideration the actuals that impact the plans. The plan is as it stands of 8 hours on Wed Thursday and Friday. But now with the new reporting option which includes the algorithm to calculate the number of hours worked and number of hours left along with the plan – you can see the extra 6 hours not worked has been added to Wed Thursday and Friday.

We can now have cost pool calculations based on a selected budget for a forecasted calculation, same as the current indirect calculations only using a GL budget value. This is useful for business planning to estimate your expected rates in the future to predictions. This can be shown in the statement of indirect rates as well to include cost pool calculations based on a GL budget.

A number of contact related enhancements have been included in this release.  A new Quick Search filter has been added to the Organization Dashboard to allow for quick access to contact information. Two new roles Contact Manager and Contact Viewer have been added to facilitate the management of the Organizational Contact information.  These new roles can be restricted via Org Access configuration (with a new Access Type of Contact).  The edit and view screens for contact information now have Created By and Last Updated by details displayed.  Organization Search,  Organization Address export, and Organization Contact export  each have four new fields to filter by (street address, city, state/providence and country) to allow for selection by Organization Addresses.  Contact Categories have also been added, which allows for each contact to be tagged with one or many categories.  The Organization Contact export has been modified to have an additional search control to filter by category.    addresses appearing in the Contact List and Contact View screens are now clickable links that will launch your local client.  Contact List screen has been modified to allow for the downloading of the displayed results to a CSV formatted file.  The Organization Contact Import has been modified to now support update and delete capabilities.  Finally, the following new imports and exports have been added to facilitate the management of Contact information;

Owning Org. = Department owning revenue
Project Org. = Customer
As you’ll recall, the Owning organization on a project refers to the department that owns the revenue for that project. The Project Organization represents the Customer.
Unanet now offers the ability to restrict visibility to data by the Owning Organization.
For example, this user is a Billing Viewer, which allows them to see Invoices. Based on this Organization access, the user can see this information for ALL projects, but ONLY those projects OWNED by the IT_PMO department.

SAML sign on from the web; our larger customers have asked for this capability. SAML allows you to develop a relationship with the ISS providers to verify your login – you can use the same login for many of your software tools – the login can be verified once and used across the toolset.
