1 1. Describe differences and or similarities
Describe how radio waves are different from sound waves. A Venn diagram might help collect your thoughts. Create a display to explain how to use this to help answer the above question – you can do the question at the same time 

2 2. Describing Questions 1 Describe the functions of the cilliary muscles and the iris. A table might help you identify all you need to include in your answer. Create a display to explain how to use this to help answer the above question – you can do the question at the same time 

3 3. Describing questions 2 Describe the characteristics of alpha particles and beta particles in terms of their: structure penetration through air and other materials deflection in an electric field. You could use a checklist table to make sure you have answered all parts of the question. Create a display to explain how to use this to help answer the above question – you can do the question at the same time 

4 4. Using information 1 Use the information given to describe a process e.g. Create a display to explain how to use this to help answer the above question – you can do the question at the same time 

5 5. Using information 2 Describe any patterns shown in the data in table 2. When using data or graphs – make sure you state the obvious, look at column headings and axes labels. Create a display to explain how to tackle the above question – you can do the question at the same time 

6 6. Using information 3. Create a display to explain how to tackle this type of question in general – you can do the question at the same time 

7 7. Explaining Questions Explain how a transformer works
A flow chart might help you organise your thoughts here. Create a display to explain how to use this to help prepare revision notes and answer the above question – you can do the question at the same time 

8 8. Plotting Graphs and completing tables.
Create a display to remind everyone of the key things to remember when plotting graphs in exams and calculating gradients from them. (include straight and curved lines of best fit)

9 9. Describe an investigation question.
Describe an investigation a student could do to find how the resistance of a metal sample varies with temperature. The student uses the equipment shown. Include in your answer: how the student should use the equipment the measurements the student should make how the student should use these measurements to determine the resistance how to make sure the results are valid. Create a display to explain what you need to think about when answering this type of question – you can do the question at the same time  (Equipment, variables (independent, dependent, control), what data to be collected & recorded, how many sets of data, repeats, what will be done with data (graph to answer aim of investigation?) calculations (from the graph? How to make sure they have covered all points in the question.)
