4 Where we want to get (1/2) The proposed overhaul of the biocidal products dissemination will include the following: Dynamic web SPC; Automated dissemination of the assessment reports (from both active substances and biocidal products); Web interface revamp (refined search options & results table simplification); Introduction of specific product pages a.k.a. product’s factsheet; and Dissemination comparison tool for comparing the product properties.

Main features: Web interface display upgrade Refined search options with an SPC details search (e.g. identified hazards, uses, target organism) Result entries grouped together (mutually recognised products with their reference product) Products displayed by their trade names Dissemination comparison tool to enable the comparison of product properties

7 Product’s factsheet Main features: Dynamic page containing information on the biocidal product (factsheet) Graphical indication of market area where the product is available Access to product assessment report & SPC Assessment history containing historical authorisation data

8 SPC viewer Main features: Web SPC generated from XML Download of a PDF version of the SPC Biocidal product family specific web SPC containing all the members’ data

9 Member States (MS) may need to review existing assets
Automation of the dissemination of the assessment reports (from both active substances and biocidal products) and authorisation decisions will be based on tagging the documents by the MS when finalising an asset as follows: If a document is tagged “CA report”, “Final Assessment”, “PAR” and “Public” it will be published as an “assessment report” If a document is tagged “Authorisation” or “Decision” and “Public” it will be published as (authorisation) “decision”

10 Feedback welcomed, especially regarding:
Display of simplified authorisation notifications (as a subgroup of simplified authorisations?) Visual display of aggregated trade names What are the elements to include in the comparison tool Information for download (results export - webservices)
