How do we plan to spend the Pupil Premium Grant? 2018-19
Two Accelerated Progress Coaches to work alongside targeted students of all ages for assertive mentoring and support with classwork and run intervention in a small group. Pastoral Support Assistants to support students in improving attendance and reducing exclusions. Guest Motivational Speakers – a range of experiences to motivate students. A small amount of subsidy of the cost of trips, revision guides, music lessons etc on a case by case basis. An in-school counsellor to provide support to young people and their families. One week summer school. Student Mentors to support students in class and provide positive young, ambitious role models. Investment in digital learning such as SAM learning to access an curriculum areas . How do we plan to spend the Pupil Premium Grant? Transition Teaching Assistants who share their time between here and our main feeder primaries, easing the transition of year 6 & 7 students. ARCCH staff for addressing students social, emotional and behavioural needs to prevent fixed term exclusions of vulnerable pupil. This will provide a more purposeful curriculum.. A Motor Vehicle Maintenance course in KS4 for targeted students.
