Focussed on the marking policy and ensured use of marking that made an impact.
Rigorous process to ensure marking was done properly – looked for proof of work analysis forms
Looked for evidence of verbal feedback, use of marking key and next steps.
Much less on marking and feedback agenda at Sandon but quick glances at Tapestry and books to see progression and opportunities to progress.
Clear evidence of progress: How feedback and marking influence assessment and next steps – opportunities for children to meet next steps in books/Tapestry.
