We are continuing our study of trees and this week we will focus on who takes care of trees such as arborist and foresters. This would be a great time to take a trip to a nursery and let your child see how trees are cared for!
Please continue to read each night and remember to mark it on your calendar (back of folder!) Continue to practice counting, alphabet letters & sounds, and number & shape recognition at home.
Since we have went through all of the letters, our homework will for now consist of shape building! Each week you will be given a certain shape to “build” on the given piece of construction paper. My suggestion is to use Q-tips but you are welcome to be creative and use any small objects! Please let your child do the constructing and gluing as this activity is designed to build fine motor strength!
Our field trip to the Cincinnati Nature Center is THIS THURSDAY on April 7th. Please dress for the weather! Bring a packed lunch with all disposable items and bags!
