3. Contract Site Induction
No employee is to operate a DGL(Aust) Pty Ltd Vehicle Loading Crane unless the following has been completed:
Hold an in date HRW Licence for that type of crane.
Driver Verification of Competency (Vehicle Driver Operator Assessment) (F-620) completed on that vehicle type.
Driver Verification of Competency (Vehicle Mounted Cranes) (F-1130) completed on that type of crane.
HIAB/Palfinger Manufacturer familiarisation induction completed on model of crane to be operated.
Contract site induction completed.
Have read the SWMS and signed to say so for the task allocated by the site contracted at.

11. Operation of Vehicle Mounted Cranes and Adherence to Exclusion Zones Requirements
1. Under no circumstances are drivers to allow any other person on their truck to unload or assist in unloading 2.
a) No person is permitted to be in the exclusion zone whilst you operate the crane and are at the controls of the crane
b) No one other than you as the operator of the crane is permitted to sling the load on your behalf
c) No one other than you as the operator of the crane is permitted to unsling the load on your behalf
Exception to the above:
Where you are not using the truck mounted crane and the site is unloading the product with their equipment we will allow their nominated people to sling ,unsling and unload the product on the site you are delivering to
3. Under no circumstances is a driver to get onto the back of a truck that does not have safety arrests in place (Arrests are to be retro fitted on the Sydney fleet asap)
4. If a driver is any doubt whatsoever of the safety or risks at a delivery site, he must contact the depot for instructions. Notwithstanding if he feels that the unload involves risk that cannot mitigated, he has the authority to refuse to unload.
