Motivation: BIG uncertainty of density dependence of Quark masses
Linear scaling: x = eg: Fowler et al. 1981, Chakrabarty 1991; Widely used; Pure phenomenological Cubic scaling: x = 1/3 eg: Peng et al. 2000; Developed recently; Based on quark chiral and linear confinement Other forms eg: Dey et al. 1998, Wang 2000, Zhang & Su 2003.
