University of East Sarajevo Project Role
University of East Sarajevo (UES) participated actively in all project activities, and tends to have an active role in the project in the future. Exception is meeting in Liege where UES did not participate due to administrative difficulties at the Institution, but UES representatives did participate in other two meetings organized by the EU universities in Torino and Coventry, at which EU experts presented their experiences with the process of enhancement of the HE research potential and gave useful advices. The representative from UES is a member of QAC of the project.
17
University of East Sarajevo Project Role (2)
The UES collected the data and information regarding the research human potential and issues at the University and filled in the questionnaire, as it is planned within WP1. The situation at UES is quite specific regarding the status of the researchers, since all teaching staff employed at the University is considered to be researchers, thus the data in the questionnaire might significantly differ from other institutions.
18
University of East Sarajevo Project Role (3)
Regarding the questionnaire which is supposed to be filled in and submitted by the researches, the UES did the more extensive analysis and finished it before the determined deadline. On the suggestion of the coordinator, the questionnaire was sent, and filled in by the PhD candidates too, and amended version is sent to the coordinator
19
Following Activities of UES
Within WP2 „Excellent university for the researchers“ where the leader is University of Novi Sad, University of East Sarajevo is task leader for: Act.2.1. „Reinforcing of university centers and offices by creating and adopting relevant bylaws“ Concrete bylaws at WBC universities will be adopted with the purpose of improving the status of researchers and bringing the university closer to the more developed EU HE institutions, by implementing the principles of the human research strategy
20
Following Activities of UES (2)
On 7th of November UES will organize the training concerning the role and significance of C&C and HRS4R (3.1.) 100 researches will be introduced with the role and significance of C&C and HRS4R through a one-day seminar. The intention is raising awareness about the benefits of applying the principles implemented in the strategy.
