15 Oct 2018 – 2 Nov 2018 – CHRC Conduct Town Hall Briefings
5 Nov 2018 – 30 Nov Open Window for employees to apply for VERA or VSIP; verify retirement eligibility and complete part 1 of application to submit to Department Head
3 Dec 2018 – 21 Dec 2018 – MTFs/Center completes Parts 2-4 of application; recommends approval/disapproval of applications
24 Dec 2018 – 11 Jan CHRC completes Part 5 of application
14 Jan –25 Jan 2019 – NCR-MD completes Part 6 of application; submits to DHA
28 Jan – 8 Feb 2019 (approx) - Director, DHA makes final decision
NLT 22 Feb Employees who applied will be notified by letter
NLT 31 Mar Employees approved for VERA and/or VSIP must be off the roles by this date
Restructured positions must begin recruitment process NLT 60 days (31 MAY 2019) after effective date of employee coming off the roles.
