Monday, October 23 Today I will read Malevolent Ink for pleasure. I will show what my favorite stories are by voting for them. Using either an iPad or your phone go to and read stories. Please don’t vote until you have read all the stories in a particular category. You may vote for stories at all grade levels. Reminder: Bring your JOV book tomorrow.

2 Tuesday, October 24 Today’s Objective: 2B Use context to determine or clarify word meaning.
YOU MAY PICK A NEW SEAT! Reminders of new roles. WU: Fill in a bingo page with words from JOV unit 3, page 18. 3 Wednesday, October 25 Today’s Objective: Today I will learn to recognize different types of pronouns in order to be able to use them correctly. I will do this by sorting cards by type and by playing a game. WU: Sort pronoun cards into categories. Journal – Use one of each type of pronoun; underline them. Closure: Share two sentences with pronouns in them with a partner. HW: JOV 3 CDE due tomorrow

4 Personal – These pronouns replace name of specific people and things.

5 Possessive – These pronouns show ownership.

6 Reflexive – These pronouns “flex” your muscles!
