Disagreeing With God

We dig our heels in
We speak faster and louder
We walk away mad

8. Disagreements with God surround what the Bible says
God’s word is True

9. John 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.
John 14:2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.
Ephesians 1:13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,

10. When truth doesn’t matter, it is easy to make a decision
When truth doesn’t matter, making self happy becomes the goal
When truth doesn’t matter, no one is wrong

11. Truth is recognizable, knowable and capable of doing things in us
John 8:32 “ and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
Truth is not determined by our intuition or experience.
Truth doesn’t change as our point of view changes

12. God’s word is right over the voice of others (Gal 1:6-8)
God’s word is greater persuasion than the appearance of the resurrected (Lk 16:31)
God’s word is greater than spiritual gifts (1 Cor 13:8-12)

14. Jesus knew more than Peter did
He knows more about how to maintain relationships than we do
He knows how to raise a child more than we do

15. Jesus saw things Peter never did
Luke 5:6-7 the nets were breaking and the boats were sinking
