Reading Corner
We love volunteers! Sign up if you can .
The students are using sticky notes to label objects and characters in our books using snap words too. They can label “the cow”, and “the troll”. They are learning that they can read these labels with their partner before reading the book to get “warmed up”. The student are also acting out many of our “old favorites” using props and puppets.

This week the students learned that they need to stay focused on 1 topic in their writing and write a lot of details about it. They learned to make clear drawings that are realistic. They also learned that they need to reread their writing by pointing under each word they wrote.
