3. How Do I Access “Course Planner”?

5. Here is the first thing you will see:
USERNAME = ge-StudentNumber
PASSWORD = Birth date: mmddyyyy Click on “LOG IN”

6. Check out: - various Menu Tabs available ..…
- you have full access to “Career Cruising”
.... continue to “Choose My Courses” for now

7. STEP 1: Decide on “Compulsory Course” levels
English, Math, Science, Geography, Phys Ed, French
Complete “EDHS Grade 9 Program of Study” handout in packages and base choices on Grade 8 Teacher recommendations

8. STEP 2: Select “Compulsory Course” levels
Start with English by clicking on sign inside box
Be sure to base choice on Grade 8 Teacher recommendations

9. STEP 2: Selecting levels (continued)
Click on proper course code desired for “drop down” menu to display description (base on Grade 8 Teacher recommendations).
Click on “Add Courses” icon to select desired stream

10. STEP 2: Selecting levels (continued)
Continue with remaining courses by clicking on sign for each
For Phys Ed, choose proper gender (male or female)
to make a change, click on the desired course to return to chart

11. STEP 3: Select “Option” courses
You will need to select 2 options & 1 alternate of the 6 available
base choices on interests and future plans

12. STEP 3: Selecting 2 Options (continued)
Click on each course to display course description.
Click on “Add Courses” icon to select desired stream

13. When all courses have been selected:
Click on “Submit” at bottom of column

14. - Read message and click “Submit” to continue
note period for “Sign-Off” phase – see Guidance - changes can be made until “Sign-Off Sheet” is printed - correct any errors if there any shown in message...

15. Note the following: bar code across top
This is your formal “Sign-Off Sheet” – print this page using the printer icon at the top tool bar
Once printed, choices are locked in – be sure of choices!
