3. 3 The Road to the Historicon Awards In 2008 the HMGS EAST BoD authorized funding for a HISTORICAL MINIATURES GAMING INDUSTRY AWARDS PROGRAM. An Awards Committee established Rules and Procedures for nomination and selection based on input from the Charles Roberts Awards and the Origins Awards.
