Set and analysis advise
It must flow! THE “WHAT” – director, genre, title, technique, context, effect The “How” – SPECIFICALLY, how did Burton make this technique show that effect? The “why” – why does it create the effect? The “why” - Why does Burton want us to feel that way?

DO THE WORK! • “How” is usually used in place of actual writing/precise expression. • Don’t ask the reader to do the writer’s job. • Readers shouldn’t have to fill in the mental blanks.

Be specific!! The music adds to the feeling of the scene. An example of this is when Edward and Kim were by the ice sculpture. ACCCCKKKKKK!!!!! The music evokes a romantic feeling in the viewer as Edward skillfully creates the ice sculpture that Kim is dancing under.

Transitions Concluding Sentence in Paragraph:
Burton’s use of long shot and close-up contributes to a feeling of dread for a character’s well-bring. Burton uses music to further create a suspenseful atmosphere. Transition between ideas: Like long shots, Burton uses close-up shots to develop a sense of fear for the character’s situation. Burton not only used long shots to create dread in his viewer, but also to focus on uplifting dramatic moments.
