3. Schedule of Student Meetings Monday, March 24 – Sophomores (A-K) Tuesday, March 25 – Sophomores (L-Z) Wednesday, March 26 – Juniors (A-K) Thursday, March 27 – Juniors (L-Z) Friday, March 28 – Any Junior or Sophomore who was unable to attend their scheduled meeting

4. MHS Enrollment Procedure Completed packets only will be accepted Turn in Completed packets in the counseling office or to the Counselor at lunch Deadline to turn in applications – Friday, April 11th Begin accepting completed forms tomorrow.

5. What is a completed packet? Completed MCC application (Blue) Must have signatures!! Look on both sides Completed Concurrent Enrollment Form with Parent/Guardian and Student signature Completed Schedule Information Sheet If applying for a tuition waiver – turn forms in now

6. Testing Requirements You must pass all sections of TAKS to take a Dual Credit class Depending on your TAKS scores, additional testing may be required. Exemptions from further testing: 2200 ELA and a 3 on the writing 2200 Math THEA or Accuplacer at MCC Testing Center

7. REMEMBER April 11 th - Deadline ONLY Completed Packets will be accepted Packets must be returned to the Counseling Office You must pass all sections of TAKS in order to be enrolled in a MCC course. Do not turn in payment at this time!

9. 2008 – 09 TSTC Dual Credit Enrollment Information Distribution of all Enrollment Materials will begin week of March 31 st. Complete & Return the following to MHS Counseling Office: –MISD Technical Dual Credit Information Form –TSTC Enrollment Forms (3) to Counseling Office –Complete On Line TSTC Application @ waco.tstc.edu

10. 2008 – 09 TSTC Dual Credit Enrollment Information DEADLINE for submission of materials: Friday, April 25 th. Transcripts with TAKS scores, Medical Record, etc. will be printed by MHS and submitted with enrollment forms to TSTC. Based on TAKS scores students may have additional required testing (ie: Accuplacer). Deadline for all testing is July 1.

11. 2008 – 09 TSTC Dual Credit Information Transportation is NOT provided Tuition & Fees for technical dual credit are covered in partnership with TSTC & MISD Students must cover the cost of textbooks up front. In the past, upon successful completion of course work students are reimbursed @ 100% of the original cost of the text. Students are responsible for covering and required testing fees
