Sector to be served: Agriculture Service to be delivered: Sub-seasonal to Seasonal Prediction (Temperature, Precipitation & Relative Humidity; if possible wind)-Outlooks, Advisories, Bulletins Potential partners in service delivery: Dept. of Agri. & media (tv, radio, print media, weather apps.) NHMS requirements from RCC (data, monitoring, prediction, projection) : Continuous prediction of the aforementioned variables for 5-30 days throughout the year Seasonal extremes & warnings Intra-annual & inter-annual variability of climate Monitoring information and reports on climate indices(ENSO,IOD, etc.) Information on monsoon breaks, onset, withdrawals and information on dry spells and wet spells Climate projection

Provision of 5-10 days prediction (temp., prec., RH, Wind)
RCC response: Provision of days prediction (temp., prec., RH, Wind) Findings on climate variability (inter-annual & intra-annual in the region) Reports, information and model outputs on climate indices (ENSO, IOD) Include the target country in capacity development plan of RCC in analysis and interpretation of model outputs Results model evaluations Climate projection at national scale for Bhutan and assist capacity interpretation & analysis NHMS/RCC requirements from other entities: Sub-seasonal to seasonal prediction(temp., precip., RH, wind) Explore to increase the resolution of the forecast Model evaluations and coordination with RCCs –MME could be developed Climate projection

NHMS/RCC requirements for CST(Data, monitoring, prediction and projection)
Customized prototype CST for Bhutan (Provision to upload and analyze data at local level in addition to data available on web; Country specific) Include regional scale data besides global data Action Plan: (Baseline Information) [Reports on stakeholders needs covered in FMI, World Bank and stakeholder Training workshop to be conducted from 27 March 2017 to 7 April 2017 through UNDP-GEF project Severe weather forecasting and agro-met bulletins for 1-7 days will be covered under GCF project] Sub-season to seasonal prediction of climate Climate Projection –(Assistance in interpretation & analysis) In house meeting and preparation draft on action plan RCC/GPCs –commitment (what they can do?) and formal mechanism be identified Submit action plan within 6 months to WMO in consultation with RCCs/GPCs WMO interventions- Comments, possible financial commitments for implementation of the action plan Implementation period-12 months
