James 2:  So speak and so act as those who are to be judged by the law of liberty. 13  For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.

Romans 8:  Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

8. God Is Kind To Us
Romans 2:4 4  Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

9. I Do Not Condemn You
John 8:  Straightening up, Jesus said to her, "Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?" 11  She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more."
Caught in the very act.
Made it clear that the only one who has the right to judge is the one who has never sinned – Jesus.
He made the statement, but he encouraged the correct response.
It is forward looking, not backwards looking.

10. The Spirit of Gentleness
Galatians 6:1 1  Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.

11. No Reduction in Our Inheritance
Luke 15:  "And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.' 22  "But the father said to his slaves, 'Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet; 23  and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; 24  for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.' And they began to celebrate.

13. The Indwelling of Jesus
1 John 4:4 4  You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

14. Your Faith
1 John 5:  For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5  Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
