Soldier Yells Rebel Yell - The rebel yell was a battle cry used by Confederate soldiers during the American Civil War. Confederate soldiers would use the yell during charges to intimidate the enemy. Union Hurrah – Battle Cry of Freedom “The Union forever! Hurrah, boys, hurrah! Down with the traitor, up with the star”
