Cognitive-behaviourAL therapy (CBT) for Social Anxiety
What: 13 sessions of Group CBT for social anxiety, beginning Oct 16, 2018 When: 4-6pm from Oct 16, 2018 to Jan 29, 2019, with Dec break for winter holidays and a 1-month follow-up session on Feb 26, 2019 Where: University of Waterloo Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment (UW CMHRT), located on campus in the PAS Building, Rm 1401 For Whom: Anyone 18+ years old with social anxiety symptoms that disrupt functioning may be eligible to participate in the group Led By: Our experienced roster of Clinical Psychology doctoral students (supervised by registered psychologist Dr. David Moscovitch) Cost: Fully covered by student health insurance & fees for UW students ($ per session for non-students) Next Steps: Pre-group assessments begin in early September Contact us ASAP to express your interest and/or learn more about this and other treatment options at the UW CMHRT, including future social anxiety groups Interested?
