Introduction The aim of my social production is to change someone’s opinion on Gay Marriage. The purpose of my market research is to be able to identify my target audience.

Primary Qualitative Research
Focus Groups are extremely helpful. I was only able to hold two focus groups but from both of them, the general opinion was very similar. A lot of my focus group attendees voiced their anger or sadness with how same-sex couples are treated by religion or homophobic groups. Overall my primary research from my focus groups was successful.

This is the one response from my Questionnaire which surprised me the most.

Primary Quantitative Research
Everyone who answered my Survey Monkey was between the age of "If you are from a Country in which Same-Sex marriage is legal, does it bother you?" It is well known that the large majority of my age group is very accepting of things like same-sex marriage and homosexuality. Over 10% of people answered that they are in fact bothered by it.

Target Audience My target audience would be aimed at young-adults and adults. There is no "specific" gender in which I wish to target seeing as there is no homophobic gender. My secondary target audience could be children.

Secondary Research The large majority of it was taken from a youtube channel named "The Fine Brothers". The videos which I decided to use for research were "Kids react to Gay Marriage" and "Kids react to Gay Marriage Ruling". They both became very helpful for me to understand the idea of children echoing their parents beliefs.

Summary I collected my primary research and secondary research and found out quite a lot. I did this because this subject is very personal because when I am older and at the age I feel marriage is appropriate, it could affect my life. All it takes is government in which they feel same-sex marriage is not viable. Overall, I am pleased with my research.

Conclusion. This information is going to help me create a music video showing the benefits of same-sex marriage and the happiness or closure it can bring to someone. I hope it will change people’s minds.
