New for 2009-2010 Advanced Placement courses with a 1.25 multiplier may be considered Advanced courses with a 1.1 multiplier Advanced Placement/Honors courses now require Proficiency on the PSSAs 11 th graders are required to take either Chemistry, Applied Chemistry or Honors Chemistry Application required for Career/Tech programs

8. New for 9 th Grade All 9 th graders will be required to take a.5 credit of Physical Science Required.5 credit of Tutorial each semester Waiver must be signed by parent to opt out of Tutorial (examples: Band/chorus, ROTC, & Foreign Language)
