2 If your institution subscribes to DynaMed Plus with Continuing Medical Education, your searches can be submitted for CME or CE credits, or contact hours. Using DynaMed Plus, you can log in to your personal account to access, print, and track your earned credits or contact hours.

3 Begin by signing into DynaMed Plus with your Personal Account credentials. Click the Sign In/Create Account link and then click Sign in to enter your credentials. If you do not have a Personal Account, enter your information in the fields provided and click Submit. You will receive an with steps to complete the account creation process.

4 After logging in, note the Continuing Medical Education (CME) indicator in the toolbar. The number displayed indicates how many CME credits you have available to submit for a certificate of completion.

5 Search for DynaMed Plus topics of interest.

6 As you read sections of DynaMed Plus topics, the system tracks your activity and CME credits are automatically added to the number you have available to submit. The number of credits in the CME indicator is updated after you navigate away from the current page.

7 When you are ready to submit your available CME credits, click either the CME indicator at the top of the screen.

8 The first time you visit the CME/CE Credits screen, you are prompted to enter your address and select the type of Credit you need. Once you fill this out, you are not required to provide this information again. You can edit this information at any time by clicking the CME Settings link above the Available Credits tab.

9 On the CME/CE Credits screen, you can view the sections of topics tracked by the system by clicking the View Sections link for a topic. Next, click the Prepare for Submission link for the Credits you would like to submit.

10 On the What You Learned box, fill out the Required sections and add Optional comments in the field provided. Click OK at the bottom of the form.

11 If you have additional credits you would like to prepare, you can do that now or click the Submit button to go ahead and submit the credits you have prepared.

12 After your CME/CE request is successfully submitted, you receive an with a copy of your certificate. Click OK to return to the CME/CE Credits screen.

13 Your submitted credits are removed from the Available Credits tab and added to the Claimed Credits tab, from which you can access a PDF copy of your certificate by clicking the PDF Certificate link.

14 At any time, you can click on the Help link to view the complete online Help system.
