1 Student Score Reports Scores should NOT BE COMPARED to results from the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) program because they are based on different academic standards These results are ONLY ONE OF MANY MEASURES of academic performance: classroom tests, assignments, report cards, teacher conferences, grades, projects This year’s data will set the baseline for the accountability system. Many students will need to make significant progress to reach the at or above standard level These results will provide us an opportunity to focus on the needs of students and teachers
