Introduction Developed and manufactured by Intel, the Core i5 is a computer processor, available as dual- core or quad-core. It can be used in both desktop and laptop computers, and is one of three types of processors in the "i" series.

Memory Handling We recommend using memory that adheres to the JEDEC* memory specification. Anything over the specified voltage can damage the processor or significantly reduce processor life span. For DDR3 memory: 1.5 volts, plus or minus 5% For DDR3L memory: 1.35 volts, plus or minus 5% For DDR4 memory: 1.2 volts, plus or minus 5%
