While there are various electrical circuit inspection methods, described here is a general method to check its open and short circuit by using an ohmmeter and a voltmeter. Before measuring voltage to check for electrical system, check to make sure that battery voltage is 11V or higher. Such terminal voltage check at low battery voltage will lead to erroneous diagnosis. Loose connection of connector. Poor contact of terminal (due to dirt, corrosion or rust on it, poor contact tension, entry of foreign object etc.). Wire harness being open.
4
When performing service to electrical parts that does not require use of battery power, disconnect the negative cable of the battery. When removing the battery, be sure to disconnect the negative terminal first and then the positive cable. When reconnecting the battery, connect the positive cable first and then the negative cable, and replace the terminal cover. Before measuring voltage to check for electrical system, check to make sure that battery voltage is 11V or higher. Such terminal voltage check at low battery voltage will lead to erroneous diagnosis.
6
Using a test male terminal, check both terminals of the circuit being checked for contact tension of its female terminal. Check each terminal visually for poor contact (possibly caused by dirt, corrosion, rust entry of foreign object, etc.). Using continuity check or voltage check procedure described in the following page, check the wire harness for open circuit and poor connection with its terminals. Check each connector at both ends of the circuit being checked for loose connection. Also check lock condition of connector if equipped with connector lock.
7
Measure resistance between connector terminals at both ends of the circuit being checked (between A-1 and C-1 in the figure). If no continuity is indicated (infinity or over limit), that means that the circuit is open between terminals A-1 and C-1. Disconnect the connector included in the circuit (connector-B in the figure) and measure resistance between terminals A-1 and B-1. If no continuity is indicated, that means that the circuit is open between terminals A-1 and B-1. If continuity is indicated, there is an open circuit between terminals B- 1 and C-1 or an abnormality in connector-B.
9
Voltage check :- voltage is supplied to the circuit being checked, voltage check can be used as circuit check. With all connectors connected and voltage applied to the circuit being checked, measure voltage between each terminal and body ground. there is a resistance (abnormality) of such level that corresponds to the voltage drop in the circuit between terminals. Measure resistance between terminal at one end of circuit ( A-1 terminal in figure) and body ground. If continuity is i indicated, it means that there is a short to ground bet ween terminals A-1 and C-1 of the circuit.
10
Poor mating of connector halves, or terminals not fully seated in the connector body (backed out). Dirt or corrosion on the terminals. The terminals must be clean and free of any foreign material which could impede proper terminal contact. However, cleaning the terminal with a sand paper or the like is prohibited. Damaged connector body, exposing the terminals to moisture and dirt, as well as not maintaining proper terminal orientation with the component or mating connector. Check each connector terminal in problem circuits carefully to ensure good contact tension by using the corresponding mating terminal.

Visually inspect fuel lines and connections for evidence of fuel leakage, hose cracking and damage. Make sure all clamps are secure. This work must be performed in a well ventilated area and away from any open flames. Visually inspect hoses for cracks, damage, or excessive bends. Inspect all clamps for damage and proper Position. Check EVAP canister for operation and clog. Refer to EVAP EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM in SECTION 6E. If a malfunction is found, repair or replace.

Compressor: The compressor is the work horse of the air conditioning system, powered by a drive belt connected to the crankshaft of the engine. When the aircon system is turned on, the compressor pumps refrigerant vapour under high pressure to the condenser. Your air conditioning unit uses chemicals that convert from gas to liquid and back again quickly. These chemicals transfer the heat from the air inside your property to the outside air. The AC unit has three key parts. These are the compressor, the condenser, and the evaporator.
13
The compressor, the “heart” of the car's air conditioning system works like a pump taking refrigerant, (R-12 in older cars, R-134a in 1995 and newer cars ) and pressurizing it, passing it along to the evaporator.... The clutch is driven by a drive/serpentine belt, which engages the compressor when you switch on the AC. The compressor, the “heart” of the car's air conditioning system works like a pump taking refrigerant, (R-12 in older cars, R-134a in 1995 and newer cars) and pressurizing it, passing it along to the evaporator here is how all the various parts of a car's air conditioning works. When the aircon system is turned on, the compressor pumps refrigerant vapour under high pressure to the condenser.
14
The condenser is a device used to change the high- pressure refrigerant vapor to a liquid. It explains the four main types of air conditioners. 1. Window Air Conditioner: This type of unit is designed to cool a single room. In this air conditioner all the components, namely the compressor, condenser, expansion valve or coil, evaporator and cooling coil are enclosed in a single box. The HVAC system is an important accessory, and helps you stay cool in the car when it gets hot outside. However, the AC is powered by your engine – the serpentine belt that runs your alternator, water pump, power steering pump and other accessories also turns the pulley for the AC compressor/clutch Ac system are used in cooling for four wheelings.
15
The simple answer is that if your engine is running, and your cars electrical system is functioning properly, then “no,” air conditioning does put an additional load on your battery.... Your battery will drain, as the alternator isn't spinning (producing electricity), and therefore the regulator has nothing to manage. Main component of ac Compressor. This is the component that is located in the front of the vehicle and is responsible for putting the refrigerant under pressure. Condenser. Evaporator. Thermal expansion valve. Drier or accumulator.

Fuses are used to protect the wiring in an electrical circuit from being destroyed in the event of a short circuit. A relay is use to allow a small current to close contacts and control a much larger current. For example the Bended drive on a cars starter system is a relay. Since automotive fuses are differentiated both by design type and current rating, all fuses most emphatically are not the same. Although it is definitely possible to replace any ATO fuse with any other ATO fuse, doing so can be extremely dangerous if the wrong amperage fuse is substituted

The main job of the fuse is to protect the wiring. Fuses should be sized and located to protect the wire they are connected to. If a device like your car radio suddenly draws enough current to blow the fuse, the radio is probably already toast. An electronic fuse is a low resistance resistor that provides protection in the event of a load overcurrent. Short circuits, device failure or overloading can cause a load overcurrent. In an electronic fuse, a metal wire melts in the event of an overcurrent, therefore causing an interruption in the circuit. Before you can change a fuse, you must find the faulty one. It will have a broken filament (the thin strip of metal inside) or will be black inside. Some vehicles come with special "pullers" to remove fuses, but tweezers work just as well. You can also use your trusty fingers.
