3. Data – What is it?
Data – Noun – Facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis
Data, information, knowledge and wisdom are closely related concepts, but each has its own role in relation to the other, and each term has its own meaning. According to a common view, data is collected and analyzed: data only becomes information suitable for making decisions once it has been analyzed in some fashion.

Oregon’s Consolidated Plan Amendment
Estimate the number and type of families in need of housing assistance for families with children and the families of veterans.
According to the January 2015 PIT count; there were 1,173 families with children experiencing homelessness, consisting of 3,724 people. Seventy-one of these families included a veteran and their children. There were 234 people in these families of veterans experiencing homelessness.
