The PAIN OUT project - an overview
Presented by …
2
What is PAIN OUT? A research project that aims at improving postoperative pain treatment outcomes by use of a toolkit consisting of 3 major tools: 1. a benchmark module that feeds back outcomes 2. a clinical decision support system 3. an electronic knowledge library From 2009 to 2012, PAIN OUT was funded by the EC. The clinical decision support system as well as the electronic knowledge library are being developed within the EC-funded PAIN OUT project. We distinguish between PAIN OUT (PO) -> EC-funded project and PAIN OUT International (POI), the international extension of the EC-project. There is no EC-funding for new participants.
