2. R5S plate in repair (Aachen)
We have in total 2 R5S plates
hence maximum 6 R5S modules per day
One position (1/6) has vaccuum leaks
possibility to be repaired in Aachen
difficult operation
when not succesful, the position is lost
proposal by Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL)
make new plate as back-up (time-scale: end of May)
they are investigating the possibility

3. R5 frames are too thick Only affects R5 frames (made in Aachen)
All other TEC frames made in Brussels
Gantry plates have a fixed groove depth
they accomodate frames up to 900 microns
when thicker the frame exceeds the sensor level
extra glue spots in sensor corners
added (~) one year ago
yesterday: meeting in Brussels with W.Braunschweig
proposal to remove them for R5, R6 and R7 frames

5. Alignment sensors production
Urgent need for 6 R6 alignment modules
we use a new sensor pick-up tool (UCSB)
precision of modules is fine (dry assemblies)
we glue them with ‘old’ (but good) hybrids
They are glued today...
over the last days glued normal R6 modules
all grade A
hence expect no problem for the alignment sensor modules

6. Conclusion Possibly 1/6 position lost for R5S
due to vaccuum problems
R5 frames being repaired in Aachen
Production R5 slow : frames issue
Production R : no hybrids
Production R : only with old hybrids
>2 FTE doing nothing most of the time !!
