Involves asking delicate questions.
We encourage our clients to really breathe into the life of their images and to speak from the perspective of the created image, rather than from there own. This means trying to get away from expressions like “the octopus at the bottom wants to move” and instead actually becoming the octopus for a moment and saying “I want to move” and allowing the dialogue to continue from there. EAT in its purest from does not see the art product as being the artist or some extension of them, rather the art has a life of its own and can express itself. By speaking through the images we create a distance between the client and their thoughts/emotions giving them a sense of safety to express themselves.
