Current State of IEEE-HKN
Active Chapters increased from 97 (in 2012) to 157 (in 2013), 62% increase Four new and eight re-activated Chapters in 2013 Retention as of August 2013 (from MGA): Overall IEEE student members: 26% IEEE-HKN student members: 46% Alumni database: From 8,044 (in May 2013) to 9,562(Nov 2013), increase of 19% Social media: Current reach on Facebook is to 45 countries, over 120,000 people. The gender breakdown is 29% women and 71% men. Top two countries for followers are India and the United States. 1/10/2019

Five Year Business Plan
Establish a business plan based on a market assessment for new revenue opportunities, growth potential, Chapter growth, increased invitation acceptance rate. Five year business plan assumes: Multi-year market study Awareness building for IEEE-HKN Growth in size and accuracy of Alumni Data Base Develop Corporate Partners program, identify potential corporations, develop and execute awareness campaign Establish IEEE-HKN as a market for recruiters Introduce new products to meet other marketplace needs 1/10/2019

IEEE FinCom authorized up to $175k overspend in FY13 IEEE Foundation authorized establishment of an “Annual Fund” for contributions that is immediately spendable Market Scan: RFP out; proposals under review List Management: Underway, 19% increase in good records Enhance Chapter Activities: Founder’s Day held; photo/video contests underway Awareness Building: LinkedIn (4,365 Followers), Twitter (150 Followers), Facebook (1,501 Likes) IEEE TV/Media: Successful Virtual Leadership Conference 1/10/2019
