2. What is an adjective?
An adjective is a word that describes or modifies a noun.
They usually come before the noun.
Example:
The old man is sitting by the tree.
Do you know what the adjective is in this sentence?

3. Adjectives usually answer the following questions:
Which one?
What kind?
How many?
How much?
What color?

2.Jessica ate two eggs for breakfast.
3.I have a lot of money in the bank.
4.Do you like corn muffins with strawberry jam?

Dog is the adjective that describes what kind of biscuits.
Two is the adjective that describes how many eggs.
A lot is the adjective that describes how much money I have.
Corn is the adjective that describes the type of muffins, and strawberry describes the type of jam.

8. Adjectives Compare
When you want to compare one noun to another, you can add er to the end of your adjective.
Ex. James is taller than Malik.
When you want to compare three or more nouns to one another, you can add est to the end of your adjective.
Ex. James is the tallest person in the class.

Never add more in front of an adjective ending in er.
Ex. She is more taller than you.
Never add most in front of an adjective ending in est.
I am the most tallest person in the class.
If you add more or most in front of an adjective, it will usually end in ing.
Ex. The test was more challenging than I thought.
