Write a word problem with either addition or subtraction. Get a friend to solve it. Check his or her answer.
Create a calendar for the current month. Write important events on your calendar that are important to you. Don't forget to put the month on it!
Make a schedule of your daily events at school. List the time that each event will occur. Remember to include lunch, recess, and specials in your daily schedule.
Create your own spelling list of five challenging spelling words. Practice using these spelling words throughout the week. Give yourself a spelling test at the end of the week and check your answers.
Write about your favorite book character. Describe what that character is like and why you like that character.
Draw a picture of you and your friends playing on the playground. It is a sunny day so also include shadows for each person in your picture.
