2. Why Praise Him? The command to Praise God (113:1).
1 Praise the LORD. Praise, O servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. (Psalms 113:1, NIV)

3. An example of Praise to God (113:2a).
2 Let the name of the LORD be praised, both now and forevermore. 3 From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the LORD is to be praised. (Psalms 113:2-3, NIV)

4. The Practice of Praise to the Lord (113:2b-3).
11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” (Revelation 4:11, NIV)

5. Because of His Glory…Praise Him
He Is Exalted (v. 4).

He Is Extraordinary (113:6).

7. Because of His Grace…Praise Him.

The Grace of His Reaching Down.
6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, (Phil. 2:6, NIV)

8. 7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

He Cancels Our Pasts (113:8).
