But over the long haul the most legislated, the most litigated, the most heavily used, and the most disputed wilderness area in the country is a lot closer than Alaska. It’s the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness of northern Minnesota. And I want to put in a little plug for the fact that Cornell students get to go there every September.
