To get there, I will need to: Graduate high school by June 2020 Create a portfolio of my best film work Go into film programs to excel my abilities

3 What is a film director? A film director (filmmaker) is a person who creates films under their own aesthetic. A film director is essentially the “boss” of the film.

4 About my future career The average salary of a film director in BC is $31,300 - $104,334 you won’t be clocking-off at 5pm every day. There are no set hours for a film director.

5 My job has a 2.2% chance of becoming automated
I think the job wont be automated because just as writers, computers cant come up with their own creative ideas.

I’ve always loved movies and films and I want to create something that other people would enjoy like how I enjoy them. Being able to work on what you want to work on everyday would be nice because I hate doing the same thing everyday. Working with a lot of cool and interesting people is something I want to experience.

10 Job Outlook In BC, the job outlook is undetermined. But in manitoba its 2/3 stars Here are 2 reasons why: Society loves visual art and will always want something new People are always going to want new entertainment.

The success rate isn’t super high so being successful or even making money isn’t guaranteed Always having to come up with new ideas.
