Elbow Partner Check-In
With an elbow partner, stand up and create a handshake that has three additional pieces of flair. Practice your handshake twice. Using your chart as a visual, discuss with your elbow partner what you wrote in your reflection about your “My Lifeline” chart. Do your handshake with flair one more time.

My Path Assignment We will create an expressive chart that includes things that have made us who we are in the past, what are important aspects of our journey right now, and where we want to head in the future. QUESTIONS to consider: What’s your story? Do you want to continue that story? Do you strike it & restart? MY PATH CHART

Write around the room You will walk around the room and add your thoughts, ideas, drawings, questions to the image prompts you see around the room on posters. LINK TO IMAGES

Now in your poster group... Think about and discuss… Comments or notes that stand out to you. Summarize or highlight trends you see Pick two things to share out with the large group One person share out with the group What your group discovered through the dialogue.

Take a Selfie Everyone take a selfie somewhere in the room. You choose where, you choose how you pose, you choose what is included. You can use your phone, you can use a chrome book, or you can sketch one.

Our selfies Share out some observations about the selfies and create a list of what we found important to include with ourselves in the frame. Brainstorm as a group what types of things teach others about our culture and who we are.

What did you learn through looking at all of these images? What are trends in the comments across the room?

Break it down sessions Pick one of the following two images that you are most drawn to. Stand by that image. You will now read an article connected to the image in order to trigger some dialogue. After, we will come back together to share out our discoveries and our commentary.
