3 2003 Observations….. Most users don’t know that they are frequent users of LT tools! Language technology is widely used (i.e. spell and grammar checking) Most companies use LT only when it is embedded in other products The IT world has only limited knowledge - if any - of how LT could dramatically increase the user value of certain IT applications In general: limited interest for Language Technology Notes 11/01/2019
