10. Urban Areas Security Initiative
DHS is providing $765 million in direct funding for high threat urban areas as part of the fiscal year 2006 Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI).  UASI provides resources for the unique equipment, training, planning, and exercise needs of select high threat urban areas.
