Form Use keywords She has recently cleaned the house. past participle
Helping verb (has/have) + past participle describes an action that has finished before the time of speaking. describes an action that has results at the time of speaking. Use keywords Just – already- recently – yet – ever – never- so far – since - for

We usually add (not) to the helping verb (has/ have)
Negative Form We usually add (not) to the helping verb (has/ have) Eg. I have not (haven’t) finished my homework yet.

Question Form Helping verb (Has/ Have) + subject + past participle + ….? Has Khalid painted the walls yet? Yes/No Questions Wh question word + helping verb (has/ have) + subject + past participle + ….? Wh Questions When have your parents travelled to London?

Form Helping verb (has/have) (Verb + ing) + been + describes an action that has started in the past, but hasn’t finished yet. (unfinished action). Use keywords since – for – how long

Stative verbs (Present Perfect Continuous)
Stative verbs don’t accept ( ing ) Have been knowing have known I ………………………………….. Peter since we were 10 years old. ( know) We use Present Perfect simple instead of the Present Perfect Continuous when the verb is stative
